April 4 (Tuesday): Rally and burning of effigies at all 205 electoral constituencies throughout Nepal.
April 5 (Wednesday): Torch lit rally in all electoral constituencies and villages throughout the country.
April 6 (Thursday) to April 9 (Sunday), 2006: The seven party alliance and the Maoist insurgents have called for a nationwide general strike and non-cooperation protest programs on these days. A “huge peaceful protest program” in Kathmandu is planned on April 8 (Saturday).
